Austin, TX (March 12, 2024) – TeleScan®, a telesonography® service company, is proud to announce they have served 1500 patients and counting. This milestone was crossed last week, and is an appropriate moment to celebrate during Women’s History Month.

“I’m a longtime proponent of innovation by women, for women,” said CEO Blanca Lesmes. “So crossing another big milestone during the month that celebrates women’s achievements feels very special. I’m so proud of the company we’ve grown into, and more than that, I’m so grateful to our Vice President of Product, Alison Dilly, and to the women of the TeleScan team for building the life-changing product we have today. I also have to give a shoutout to our Director of Telesonography Services, Melissa Mercado, and to our telesonographer® team (all women) who have made it their life’s work to increase access to ultrasound. In this month of awareness, I celebrate them and the 1500 patients we’ve imaged so far.”

TeleScan, a telesonography®-as-a-service product, connects providers and their patients with expert sonographers. The software is HIPAA-compliant, FDA-cleared, and recently received FDA clearance for the use of JPEG images, which enables easier and faster image transfer, especially in low-connectivity areas.
