Austin, TX (December 13, 2023) – TeleScan®,  a telesonography®-as-a-service provider, is a recipient in the Femovate 2023 sponsorship program. Femovate is an annual program that offers user experience (UX) research, design, and mentorship services to innovators in the women’s health space. Created by Guidea in 2022, an award-winning UX design agency, the program is designed to give a boost to early stage femtech startups.

TeleScan is focused on increasing accessiblity to maternal health services, like prenatal ultrasounds. Through its innovative software, TeleScan connects providers and their patients across the nation with remote perinatal sonographers. This tech-enabled solution has been shown to reduce examination and report turnaround times, enabling healthcare facilities to see more patients and decrease the time until the next available appointment. Additionally, its reporting is both highly accurate and thorough, bringing expert ultrasound services to areas that struggle to compete for sonographer talent.

“Increasing access to maternal care in the current healthcare environment is a huge task,” said Blanca Lesmes, CEO of TeleScan. “That’s why we are thrilled to be among the 2023 Femovate cohort. Guidea has a proven track record of coming alongside organizations just like ours and propelling them into the next phase of development and success. I can’t wait to see everything we will accomplish together in the next year.”

The full list of sponsorship winners is available at Guidea’s website.
